He was employed as a Long Distance Truck Driver with Estes Truck Company of Charlotte, NC. He was a Veteran of the US Navy.
Survivors include: wife, Janie Campbell of Bakersville, NC, daughter, Kim Anthony of Morganton, NC, grandchildren, Zachary, Jackson, and Max, sister, Jane Choate of Cherryville, NC, brother, Ralph “Bud” Yoder Jr. of Caser, NC, step-son, Steven Campbell and wife Tammy of Bakersville, NC, in-laws, Kenneth and Barbara Buchanan of Bakersville, NC.
