DATELINE; BAKERSVILLE, NC
Ronald Lee Ledford age 72 of White Oak Rd, Bakersville, NC passed away February 15, 2012 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine, NC. He was a native of Mitchell County, NC and the son of the late Linnie and Beulah Edwards Ledford. He was a Veteran of The United States Air Force, and retired from Feldspar Corporation where he was a Fine Grind Operator.
Survivors include his wife Deborah Howell Ledford , of the home, son Clayton Ledford of Spartanburg, SC, daughters, Ronda Ledford, of Boomer, NC, and Shirley Boyd, of New Brunswick, Canada, sister, Linda Burleson, of Nebo, NC, and brother, Randy Ledford, of Rutherford College, NC, seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Teresa Ledford.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 17, 2012 from 1:00PM until 2:00PM in Henline – Hughes Funeral Home. Interment will follow at WilsonCemetery.
