Ruth Emma Robinson Silver

 

Ruth Emma Robinson Silver age 93, of Grindstaff Road Bakersville, NC, passed away October 17, 2011 at the Brian Center in Spruce Pine, NC. She was born in Mitchell County, NC, to the late Clyde and Della Stafford Robinson. She was a homemaker and Member of Kona Missionary Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include: daughter, Wanda Freeman and husband Tom of Spruce Pine, NC, son, William Silver Jr. and wife Brenda of Bakersville, NC, grandchildren, Mark and John Silver, Jennifer Foxx, Corrie, Sarah, and Will Freeman, Hannah Shepard, great grandchildren, Andrew Freeman, Thomas Shepard, Jackson Foxx, Makayla Silver, Annali and Riley Silver.

 

She was preceded in death by: husband, William George Silver, and son, Wayne Silver, brothers, Homer, Paul, Marvin, and Kenneth Robinson, sister, Lovie Grindstaff, and five infant brothers and sisters.

 

Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville, NC. Jerry Robinson, Paul Silver, and Randy Bonner will be officiating the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Silver Family Cemetery.
